Obituary

Ouida Faye Lewis Cadwell, 73, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. Mrs. Cadwell will be laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton. The family will receive friends Friday, April 27, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Steve Cadwell, Ronnie Hall, Chance McAllister, Brandon McAllister, Austin Cadwell and Wyatt Leverett will serve as pallbearers. Born August 22, 1944 in Eastman, Mrs. Cadwell was the daughter of the late Vertie Mae and John Benjamin Lewis. She is survived by her husband of 54 years; one son and daughter-in-law; and one daughter and son-in-law. Her grandchildren include ; and her great-grandchildren include. She is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law and her husband; and several nieces and nephews. Faye was a very loving and devoted mother and wife. She was a member of Brookfield Baptist Church and a very faithful servant of the Lord for many years. She was a cosmetologist and an office manager for many years and also played and taught piano and played the organ at her church.
