MR. MICHAEL DWAYNE “MIKE” GERMAN, age 53, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 3:00PM Friday, December 13, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Larry Mullis officiating. Mike was a native of Eastman, a member of Grace Baptist Church, attended Solid Rock Church of God and Eastman First Freewill Baptist Church, and was a former employee at Gilman’s and Piggly Wiggly. He loved fixing, tinkering, and talking on C.B. radios and he used the handle “Cat”. He loved playing pool, fishing, and was a truly kind hearted person. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Johnnie Faye Abney Rowland and Lawrence German. Survivors: Companion; Son; Step-Father; 4 Brothers; Step-Sister; Several Sisters-in-Law and Brothers-in-Law; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:30PM-3:00PM Friday, December 13.
