Clarice Witherington Braswell, age 89. of Eastman died Tuesday, May 19. 2009 at her daughter's residence.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on_ Thursday. May 21. 2009 Lovely Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Royee McClelland officiating. Interment followed in Middle Ground Cemetery.
Mrs. Braswell. a native of Dodge County, was a member of Ocmulgee Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie Dawkins Witherington and George Witherington: and her husband. J. R. Braswell.
Survivors include her daughter: her son; three grandchildren; three sisters.
Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
