Burl Fincher 1939 - 2011 -EASTMAN - BURL FINCHER, age 72, of Eastman, died Thursday, May 12, 2011. -Funeral Services are scheduled for 2P.M. Sunday, May 15 in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with interment in Poplar Springs Cemetery. -Mr. Fincher was born in Dodge County, son of the late Lillie Pope Fincher and Bernard "Pop" Fincher. He was a Supervisor for the Dodge County Road Department and of the Baptist Faith. Burl was an avid rattlesnake hunter, fisherman and musician. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Burl Fincher and two brothers, Junior Fincher and Bobby Huff. -Survivors: wife; two sons; three daughters; sister; sister-in-law; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren also survive. -The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
