Obituary
Debbie Gilbert Sapp Whittington, age 56, of Eastman died Friday, October 2, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 11 :00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2009 from the Graveside in Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Myron Parkerson officiating.
Mrs. Whittington was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas and lived most of her life in Dodge County. She was a former early childhood teacher. She was preceded in death, by her father, Cecil Gilbert; former husband, Karon Supp and a step-daughter, Shelly W. Jones.
Survivors include her husband; son; her mother; maternal grandmother; daughter; sister; one brother; and 11 grandchildren.
Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
