Betty L. West, age 74, of Eastman,, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 2 :00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2009 in Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Jones officiating. Interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. West was born in Templeville, Maryland, and lived for many years in Dover. Delaware. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, former Dodge County Hospital employee and a Dodge County Hospital Auxiliary Pink Lady. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and cross stitching. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Walls and her parents, Helen and Louis Walls. Survivors include her husband; two daughters; two sons; one sister: nine grandchildren; and six great, grandchildren also survive.
