Patricia Pickett Sparrow, age 77, of Hawkinsville, GA, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 11, at Corinth Baptist Church, Hawkinsville, with Rev. Gary Andrews officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Eastman. Mrs. Sparrow was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, a 43 year retired teacher for the Pulaski County School System and a home school educator for over 10 years. She was a loving mother and sister, and enjoyed tending her flowers and solving Sudoku puzzles. She was the daughter of the late Mamie Patricia Bowen Pickett & John Herman Pickett, widow of John Sparrow and was preceded in death by a Son – Marc Cullen Lancaster and Brother – John Herman Pickett, Jr. Survivors: Daughter; Son; Brother; Niece; Nephew; Several Cousins including.
