Ila Mae Linder Johnson, age 74, of the Mt. Ararat Community, died Monday, November 16, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in 'Mt. Ararat Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Woods and Rev. Ronny Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born in Jamestown, Tennessee and had lived in Dodge County most of her life. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Free Will Baptist Church, a retired employee of Heart of Georgia Community Action Agency and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Genia Smith Linder and John Alfred Linder; husband, Hershel L. Johnson; and a sister, Justine Linder. Survivors include two daughters; one son; one brother; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are ... ? is the musician for the funeral service.
