Obituary
Donald W. Barton, age 64, of Gresston, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in Dodge County Hospital. Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10. 2009 ia Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Neal Wall officiating. Interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Barton was born in Chatham County, was a retired electrical worker, member of IBEW and a member of New Union Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lizzie Watson Barton and Sam W. Barton; and a son, Greg Barton, who passed in 1986.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters; two sons; six sisters; one brother; and nine grandchildren.
