Eastman, GA- MRS. BERNICE VIRGINIA "JENNY" HARDIN, age 75, of Eastman, GA died February 11, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, February 15, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Mike Hardin and Dr. Jerry Peele officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery. Mrs. Hardin was born in Pulaski County, a member of Eastman First Baptist Church and a 47 year retired bookkeeper. She was the former owner and operator of Whigham Bookkeeping & Tax Service for many years and later the bookkeeper for Jody Rogers, CPA. Jenny was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and was an avid reader. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends including her rainbow cakes. She was daughter of the late Bernice Wooten English & Ben L. English, Sr., widow of Raymond C. "Pete" Hardin and was preceded in death by a Brother – David English and an Infant Brother; Sister-in-law – Lorene English and Brother-in-law – Gene Hardin. Survivors: 2 Daughters; 1 Brother; 7 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters-in-Law; Several Nieces & Nephews; Her beloved canine companion – Skeeter.
