Ruthie L. Peacock, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cedar Ridge Cemetery with the Rev. Kim Washburn officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greenwood Baptist Church, 3400 Gray Highway, Gray, 31032. Ruthie was born in Dodge County, Georgia to the late James and Orter Hobbs Walker. She has worked for Roses and Goodwill Industries. Ruthie was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of fifty nine years, children, grandchildren.
