MRS. BETTY JEVENE HAYNES PUCKETT, age 68, of Rhine, GA, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Perry Hospital in Perry, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, September 30, at Hopewell Baptist Church, with Rev. Roswell Chapman officiating, with interment in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Betty was born in Perry, lived for many years in Rhine as a child, but moved to Warner Robins with her family where she graduated from Northside High School in 1968. She was a retired civil service employee for Robins AFB for over 30 years and moved back to Rhine after her retirement in 2013 to take care of her parents. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, baking, and watching Westerns of T.V. Betty was the daughter of the late Jeynelle Dowdy Haynes and Harold Haynes and was preceded in death by a Brother, Harris Haynes. She is survived by her Husband; Daughter; 2 Sons; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Brothers; Aunt; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. The family may be contacted at the Puckett residence and will receive friends in Hopewell Baptist Church from 10:00AM-11:00AM Thursday, September 30. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Hopewell Baptist Church.
