Obituary
Mrs. Rosa Harrell, a highly esteemed lady of the Popular Springs neighborhood, died on Sunday morning last at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. L. Parkerson. Catarrh of the stomach, complicated with the infirmities of old age, is assigned as the cause of her death. The body was buried at Popular Spring Church Monday Afternoon, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. R. F. P. McKinnon. Mrs. Harrell was 74 years old, and is survived by two daughters and two sons. She had been twice married, her first husband being a Mr. Taylor. Mrs. Harrell had been a member of Popular Spring Baptist Church for many years and was a noble Christian woman who enjoyed the love, confidence and respect of her entire acquaintanceship.
