Obituary
Mary Dykes Simmons, age 87, of Eastman died Sunday, March 22. 2009 in Dodge County Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. 2009 in Southerland Funeral Chapel with Elder Franklin Bryant and Elder David Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Simmons, a Dodge County native, was a member of Cottondale Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dolly Jones Dykes and Lee Dykes: her husband. Doris A. Simmons; and two children. Brenda Dennis and Danny Simmons.
Survivors include two daughters; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
