MR. KEVIN LEE WRIGHT, age 46, of Eastman, Georgia, died Wednesday August 4, 2021, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, August 6, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Aubrey Corbitt and Mr. Will McDaniel officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Kevin was born in Dublin, GA and was a lifelong resident of Eastman and was of the Baptist faith. He was a 1993 graduate of Dodge County High School and received his associates degree in Business Administration from Middle Georgia College in 1995. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Management and received his master’s degree in Education from Georgia College and State University in 2000. Kevin worked for the Dodge County Board of Education for many years teaching special education and coaching football and baseball at Dodge County High School. He was also a certified personal trainer at Dodge Fitness for several years. He loved sports and excelled at baseball, football, and basketball at all levels through the years. During his high school years Kevin received many awards and was a popular athlete who lettered in baseball, football, and basketball. He was avid sports fan who loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Dodge County Indians. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and beloved canine companions, Rue, Riggs, and Percy. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leroy and Minnie Wright and his maternal grandfather, Roy Miller. Kevin is survived by his Parents; Brother; Maternal Grandmother; Aunts and Uncles; Numerous Cousins and Many Friends.
