MS. CARMEN MINERVA GUTIERREZ, age 79, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, June 3, 2021, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, June 8, at Saint Marks Catholic Church. Father Tomas Beroch will be officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Ms. Gutierrez was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and was a member of Saint Monica Catholic Church – Miami Gardens Florida. She was a proud graduate of Belle Glade High School, FL. She retired from the Court of Clerk in Miami Dade County after 37 years of service. Family meant everything to Mrs. Gutierrez and she never met a stranger. She was one of the caregivers of her mother for many years. She was an excellent cook who often dedicated her services to United Way. She was also a dedicated supporter and advocate of American Red Cross blood drives. She was an enthusiastic dancer with a passion for salsa, jazz, and country music. She was the daughter of the late Carmen Maria DeLeon Quiles and Pablo Manuel Gutierrez. She was preceded in death by her Brother-in-law Jose Canales. She is survived by 2 Daughters; 2 Sons; 3 Sisters; 10 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
