Obituary
Eastman, GA- Mr. Roy Emmett Jump, age 81, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, September 1, 2014 at Taylor Regional Hospital, Hawkinsville, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, September 4, at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronnie Jones and Rev. Alvin Lewis officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Jump was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member, deacon and clerk of Central Baptist Church, a 32nd Degree Mason of Masonic Lodge #536, Helena, GA, and a Korean War veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a retired civil service employee of Robins AFB and son of the late Bessie Alma Clements Jump & Emmett Jump.
Survivors: Wife; Son; Sister; Brother-in-Law; 2 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
The family may be contacted at the Jump residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Wednesday, September 3.
