Cochran, GA- Funeral services for Herbert "Buddy" Cranford, 82, of Cochran, who died Saturday, January 28, 2017, at his residence, will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery. Born in Bleckley County, he was the son of the late Herbert and Christine Wynne Cranford. Buddy attended Roddy Community Schools. He worked as a Painter and owned Buddy's CB Center. He was an avid wood worker and musician. He was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his siblings Wayne Cranford, Jeanette Newman, Leo Cranford, and Doug Cranford. Survivors include: his wife of 59 years; sons; grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister; and brothers. The family will be at the residenceand will greet friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
