Mrs. Emogene Walker Taylor, age 82, of Eastman died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Dogwood Gardens. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at The Eastman First Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Peele officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 4 til 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Taylor was born March 15, 1936 in Eastman to the late H.M. and Vara Coleman Walker. She was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church where she was very active in the music department and a retired school teacher from the Dodge County Board of Education. She is survived by her children; grandchildren; brother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by husband, Joe D. Taylor Sr.; Son, Vince Taylor and sister, Eloise Walker.
