Mrs. Bobbye Faye Smith Coody, age 80, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00PM Tuesday, April 18, at Southerland Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Coody was a lifelong resident of Eastman, a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church and a retired librarian for over 25 years in Eastman. She was a former owner and operator of Triangle Tile Company and enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was daughter of the late Willie Bell Peacock Smith & Ernest H. Smith, Jr. and was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years - Harlow Coody and a sister - Juanita Sipes. Survivors: Sister; Brother; Children; Former Daughter-in-Law; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; 12 Nieces and Nephews.
