Obituary
Michel E. "Mlekey" Pruett, Jr., age 35, of Eastman, died Thursday, December 31, 2009 at his residence,
Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2010 in Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dnhl McDermitt, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in El Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Pruett was born in Laurens County, a member of Gresston Baptist Church, and a 1993 graduate of Dodge County High School. He was an avid baseball and softball enthusiast and a great friend to everyone. He was preceded in death by his grandparents MIiton Pruett and Carolyn Fulford and Eugene and Lillian McCranie Hemphill: an uncle, Ralph Hemphill; a great aunt and uncle, Kathleen Pruett Goings and Bill Goings.
Survivors include parents; sister: niece; uncle; cousins; and a special aunt.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Mick's Boys Softball Team and former softball players.
