Ralph F. Hosford, Sr., age 81, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 in the Morgan Memorial Hospital in Madison. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 19. 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Jackson and Rev. Wyndell Hamrick officiating. Internment followed in the church cemetery. Mr. Hosford was a life long resident of Dodge County. He was retired from the ASCS office. a farmer and charter member of the Georgia Association of County Employees. He was a former board director from the Dodge County Hospital Authority. The Bank of Dodge County and Cochran Truck and Tractor. He was a Navy veteran. a member of the Cochran Rotary Club, Cochran Masonic Lodge and former City Manager of Chester. He was a member and former deacon of the Macedonia Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Columbus and Mae Bellflower Hosford and his wife Dorothy Stokes Hosford.
