EASTMAN - Services for Mrs. Sadie Ivey Parkerson, 90, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Southerland Funeral Chapel with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Jerry Peele will officiate. Mrs. Parkerson was a native of Lincolnton and had lived in Dodge County for the past 60 years. She was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church and was very active in all phases of the church throughout her life. A homemaker, Mrs. Parkerson was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Flanagan Ivey and John Marion Ivey. She was the widow of the late Bartow D. Parkerson Sr. She died Monday. Survivors include her three sons; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be ... The family will be at the residence.
