Obituary

Cochran – J.B. Hobbs, age 94, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Serenity Place in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Hobbs was born and had lived most of his life in Dodge County. He was the son of the late David L. and Mollie Elizabeth Bryant Hobbs and was preceded in death by his sisters, Emma Lou Hobbs Smith and Carrie Hobbs and his brothers, Clinton Hobbs, Charlie Hobbs and Glennie Hobbs. Mr. J.B. was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife of 63 years; several nieces and nephews. The family is at and will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service Tuesday at Macedonia Baptist Church.
