Mrs. Evelyn Walker McCullar, 95, of Valdosta, Georgia, died Friday, August 2, 2019, at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, Georgia. Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Jamie Bone officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Saturday, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald. Mrs. McCullar was born March 20, 1924, in Dodge County, Georgia, to the late William Lee & Mattie Mae Cook Walker. She graduated high school in Dodge County and retired as the office manager for Valdosta Lincoln-Mercury. She was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Valdosta and the Christian Home Builders Sunday school class. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; grandsons; a brother; and a sister. Also surviving are special friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.C. McCullar; a brother, Alton Walker; and sisters: Ruby Evans, Ollie Mullis, Lula Bennett, and Wilmetta Warren.
