Obituary

Mildred Pruett Giddens, age 81, of Eastman died Saturday, January 10, 2009 in Sheridan Place in Dublin. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 in Central Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Sheffield and Rev. Ronnie Jones officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rhine. Mrs. Giddens, a native of Dodge County, was a member of Central Baptist Church. and a retired Dodge County School Board employee. She was proceeded in death by her parents Alver Ross Pruett and Raiford Pruett and was the widow of the late S. J. Hilliard and Charles Giddens. Survivors include one son; two grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; two brothers and two step-children. Serving as pallbearers were .... ? was soloist and ? was pianist for the funeral service. Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
