Obituary

Pauline (Polly) Willcox, age 92, of Eastman died Thursday, August 20, 2009 in Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2009 from the graveside in Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Peele and Aubrey Corbitt officiating. Mrs. Willcox, a native of Dodge County, was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Willcox. Survivors include a sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews; friend and caregiver. The family requests to omit all flowers and contributions be made to First Baptist Church, Eastman. Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
