Obituary
Artie Joe (Pittman) Walker. age 81, of Milan, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Rhine with Bobby Ryals and Rev. John Mobley officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker, born in Dodge. County, was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Bell Fountain Pittman and Joe Brown Pittman; her husband, Welman Walker; a grandson, Rhett Walker; three sisters and seven brothers.
Survivors include two daughters; two sons; one brother; 31 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and friend and caregiver.
Serving as pallbearers were .... ? was pianist for the funeral service.
Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
