Obituary
William (Billy) Ussery, age, 70, of Eastman, died Wednesday. May 20. 2009 in Crescent Ridge Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a. m. on Friday. May 22, 2009 from the graveside in Giddens-Harrell Cemetery with Elder Willie Hatfield officiating.
Mr. Ussery, a native of Laurens County, was a Primitive Baptist, and a logger. He was preceded in death by his parents, late Lucy Giddens Ussery and William I. Ussery; a sister, Edna U. Woodard; a brother. Wayne Ussery: and two children, Sue Ann Wright and Billy Ray Ussery.
Survivors include a daughter; a sister; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three nieces; and six nephews.
Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
