Shirley Ann Barlow, 83, of Juliette passed away April 25, 2021. A Graveside service will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 1100 Roddy Highway, Eastman, Georgia 31023, with the Reverend Ricky Feagin officiating. The family will greet friends, Wednesday, April 28 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hart’s on Cherry Street. Shirley was born September 25, 1937 to the late James Austin and Geraldine Holder. She is survived by her son; daughter; her loving sister; grandchildren. She also leaves behind the last of the hearts she touched in her great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Daniel Barlow; two sons, Wendell Jeff Barlow and James Gerald Barlow; and one brother, Carlton Holder. Shirley and her husband were successful business owners for nearly thirty years. Shirley was a devout Christian. She loved people and never met a stranger. Her beautiful soul made her a friend, sister, or a mother to everyone she met. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren affectionately called her “Maw”, a nickname that she cherished as much as the children themselves.
