MRS. PATRICIA JEAN ROWLAND BECK, age 71, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Dublinair Nursing Home in Dublin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, November 4, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Arnold Rye officiating, with interment in Bay Springs Cemetery in Plainfield. Mrs. Beck was born in Dublin, a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church in Plainfield, a 1969 graduate of Dodge County High School, and a homemaker. She was a former employee at Stuckey’s Inc., Standard Candy Company, and Goody’s Inc. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Jean loved taking care of her animals, riding horses, enjoyed cooking, taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Ella Pearl Mullis Rowland and Willie Alonzo Rowland and was preceded in death by 3 Sisters, Bernice Rowland Carter, Ernestine Rowland Scarborough and Shirley Rowland Williams, 2 Brothers, Ray Rowland and Ronald Rowland and a Brother-in-law, Dave Ezra Beck. She is survived by her 2 Daughters; Husband; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Sister; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence. Mrs. Jean will lie-in-state from 11:00AM-4:00PM Tuesday, November 3, at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home.
