MRS. CORA LEE WARREN TISON, age 89, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Eastman Healthcare and Rehab. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Cora was born in Dexter, GA, a graduate of Dexter High School, where she excelled at playing basketball, a member of Grace Baptist Church in Eastman, and a retired bank teller for over 30 years from a number of local banks. She was a volunteer with the WMU, Care One, and the Eastman Senior Citizen Center, loved helping others and helped many do their taxes for free, and was a very energetic and outgoing person. She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed playing badminton with her grandchildren, and she was the #1 Badminton Champion. She was the daughter of the late Nancie Fountain Warren and William Eddie Warren and was preceded in death by 3 Husbands, Sammie Rawlins Rogers, Vernon Ray Dye, and Roy Tison, Son, Sammie David Rogers, Granddaughter, Jessica Rooks, and 7 Siblings. She is survived by her 3 Daughters; Son; 7 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence.
