MR. DELTON D. BURNHAM, age 87, of Rhine, GA, died Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, December 19, at Old Fairhaven Cemetery, with Mr. Gary Ryals officiating. Mr. Burnham was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a graduate of Rhine High School, a member and deacon of Fair Haven Baptist Church, and a lifelong farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a 36-year member of the Georgia National Guard. Delton enjoyed working on the family farm, fishing, and squirrel hunting. He was a dedicated husband, and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was the son of the late Emmie Lou Gaultney Burnham and Dolph Burnham, widower of Helen Isbell Burnham, and was preceded in death by 2 Sons, David Burnham and Miles Burnham and a Son-in-law, Randy Faircloth, Sr. He is survived by his 3 Daughters; Family Friend; 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Brothers-in-law; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence. Mr. Delton will lie-in-state from 10:00AM-3:00PM Friday, December 18. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Fair Haven Baptist Church.
