Rev. Marvin Earl Parkerson -EASTMAN, GA - Rev. Marvin Earl Parkerson, age 81, of Eastman, died Sunday, September 25, 2005. -Funeral services will be held at 3P.M. Tuesday, September 27 in Poplar Springs Baptist Church, with interment in Poplar Springs Cemetery. -Rev. Parkerson was born in North Carolina and had lived in Dodge County most of his life, was a Baptist minister, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and son of the late Bill Parkerson and Cora Lee Colson Parkerson. -Survivors: wife, Bernice Grimes Parkerson; two daughters; three grandchildren; two sisters; several nieces and nephews. -The family will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 26. -Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman is serving the Parkerson Family.
