MR. DONNIE RAY ROLAND, age 61, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, December 1, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Eastman, with Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Mr. Roland was born in Eastman and was of the Baptist faith. He was a 1991 graduate of Heart of Georgia Technical Institute with a degree in Aircraft Structural Technology. Donnie was a retired civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base working for 23 years and was a former textile worker at Reeves Brothers Cotton Mill where he worked for over 15 years. He was a former member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and an avid Civil War enthusiast. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, C. J. Roland and Marcia Rowland Roland, and a brother-in-law, Andy McCormick. He is survived by his Wife; 1 Son; 2 Sisters; 1 Brother; Parents-in-law; Sister-in-law; Nieces and Nephews; Great Nephew; Great Niece. Mr. Roland will lie-in-state at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home in Eastman from 11:00AM until 4:00PM, Monday, November 30 . The family may be contacted at the Roland residence .
