MR. WINDRED WAYNE McCORMICK, age 81, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, December 28, 2020 at Dodge County Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, December 30, at Rozar Cemetery, with Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Wayne was born in Haynesville, GA, a dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church, a 1957 graduate of Perry High School, and a retired electronics technician for over 17 years from Robins AFB. He was a dedicated husband, and a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed farming, gardening, and worked for many years as a lawnmower repairman. He was the son of the late Winnie P. Parker McCormick and William Lee McCormick and was preceded in death by a Son, Andy McCormick, and Son-in-law, Donnie Roland. He is survived by his Wife of 63 years; Daughter; Daughter-in-law; 3 Grandchildren; Great-Grandson; Numerous Cousins and Friends. Wayne will lie-in-state from 11:00AM-4:00PM Tuesday, December 29, at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home.
