MRS. VICKIE LYNN WILLIAMS JOHNSON, age 66, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, February 28, 2020 at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, March 2, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Stacey Stone and Pastor Jeff Williams officiating, with interment in Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Chauncey. Vickie was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of World Outreach Church in McRae, a 1972 graduate of Telfair County High School, and a retired purchasing agent for Dodge County Hospital for over 42 years. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed going to church, reading, trips with her sisters, and being with her family. Vickie loved her work and was a dedicated employee. She was the daughter of the late Corene Williams and Alton Morris Williams and was preceded in death by a 2 Brothers, Steve Williams and Dwayne Williams. She is survived by her Husband of 21 years; Son; 2 Step-Children; Granddaughter; 5 Step-Grandchildren; 4 Sisters; 2 Brothers; Mother-in-law; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law; Aunt; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Sunday, March 1.
