Obituary

Norma Jean Dykes Simmons, age 67, of Gresston, died Monday, November 16, 2009 in Dodge County Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at , Cottondale Baptist Church, with Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Simmons, a native of Dodge County, was a member of Cottondale Baptist Church, a former employee of Reeves Brothers Inc. and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie Sheffield Dykes and Norman Dykes; and a sister, Arlene D. Easom. Survivors include her husband; and two sisters. The family may be contacted at the Simmons residence. Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman has charge of arrangements.
