Lester Saunders -EASTMAN - Mr. Lester L. Saunders, age 93, of Eastman died Saturday, June 21, 2008 in Crescent Ridge Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday, June 23, in New Union Baptist Church, with Rev Mike Grenade, Rev Leroy Hilliard and Rev Olin Hamlin officiating, with interment in New Union Cemetery. -Mr. Saunders, a native of Dodge County, was a member and deacon of New Union Baptist Church, a retired mechanic and farmer, son of the late Mary Frances Jones Saunders and William Saunders and widower of Hazel Sanders Saunders. -Survivors: two daughters; one son; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. -The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
