Wendell F. Pruett, age 70, of Palatka, Florida, formerly of Chauncey, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in Putnam Community Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009 in Southerland Funeral Chapel with Dr. Robuck Burch officiating Interment followed in El Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Pruett, a native of Dodge County, was a retired real estate investor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alver Ross Pruett and Rayford Pruett; two sisters, Linda Coley and Mildred Giddens; and two brothers, Harold Pruett and Lester Pruett. Survivors include his wife; Daughter; son; brother; step-daughter; step-son; 14, Grandchildren; two great grandsons; and friend and helper. Serving as pallbearers were ... ? was pianist for the funeral service. Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
