Obituary

Anne T. Parkerson. age 92, of Eastman died Sunday. June 14. 2009 at the Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. Graveside services, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in Orphans Cemetery. Mrs. Parkerson was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church, a former member of the Pilot Club, and a retired social worker with the Department of Family and Children Services. She was preceded in death by her husband. Avery Parkerson. Survivors include a son; a daughter-in-law; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Hardy-Towns Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
