MR. DALLAS THOMAS ROGERS, JR., age 77, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, September 7, 2020 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, September 10, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Arnold Rye officiating. Thomas was born in Plainfield, GA, a former employee of Eastman Cotton Mill, Stuckey’s Inc., Bassett Furniture, Evans Cabinet Company, and retired from Langdale, Inc. as a night watchman. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, NASCAR racing, trips to the beach, camping, taking care of his animals, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was the son of the late Gladys Louise Williams Rogers and Dallas T. Rogers, Sr. and was preceded in death by a Grandson, Dalton C. Rogers. He is survived by his Former Wife; Daughter; Son; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Brothers; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence. Thomas will lie-in-state from 10:00AM-4:00PM Wednesday, September 9.
