Wilton L. "Bill" Gibson, age 76, of Cumming died Sunday, July 12, 2009 in Norhside Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 :00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, in Southerland Funeral Chapel in Eastman with Rev. Dwayne Gibson and Rev. Ken Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Gibson. a native of Ben Hill County, lived for many years in Camden County, before moving to Forsyth County. He was a retired schoolteacher. member of North Lanier Baptist church and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Rogers Gibson and Jonathan Wilton Gibson. Survivors include his wife; one son; five daughters; two sisters-in-law; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. The Gibson family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1 :00 p.m. on Wednesday, the day of service. ? is pianist for the funeral service.
