She worked for the Duval County school system as a secretary for many years. She attended Louisville United Methodist Church, and was a former member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, Milton Pierce, son, Henry Pierce, daughter, Nancy Pierce, and survived by, daughter, son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
