Mr. Frank Jones, age 92, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2 pm at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Doug Stevens officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private committal service, with Military Honors, will follow at New Union Cemetery. Mr. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church and Korean War Veteran. He retired from Georgia Veterans Service and served as Superior Court Bailiff for 18 years. He was a former member of Jaycees and was American Legion Past Commander Post 126. He was a 1947 graduate of Chauncey High School. He was a Recipient Lieutenant Colonel, Aide DeCamp, Governor's Staff. He liked to travel and eat at Red Lobster. He also loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children; his grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; and nephew. Mr. Jones is predeceased by parents Andrew Jackson Jones and Alice Burch Jones, as well as his brother Jackson Jones.
