Obituary

Tynie Register Swearingen-Mauldin, age 81, of Eastman, died Monday, September 28, 2009 in Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Daniel Cook and Rev. Ricky Gilmore officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Mrs. Mauldin, a native of Dodge County, was a member of Cottondale Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Janie Haskins Register and Frank Register; and husbands, W. C. Swearingen and William Mauldin. Survivors include a daughter; a son; a sister; eight grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are ...
