Obituary

Wallace David Durden, 73, of Helena, died Wednesday, December 6. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00P.M., Saturday, December 9, at New Bethel Church Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, 6:00-8:00P.M., at Vaughn Funeral Home. A native and lifelong resident of Dodge County, Mr. Durden was the son of the late Ewart and Pauline Polk Durden. He worked for many years with Roydon Wear and Gilman before retirement. Mr. Durden was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy McCarter Durden. Survivors include his daughter; brothers and sisters; and granddaughters. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
