Cochran, GA- David Earl Higgins, age 75, died Saturday, February 11, 2017, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at 3:30 P.M. at Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery. Mr. Higgins, born in Dodge County, had lived most of his life in Dodge County and Bleckley County. He was the son of the late William Earl and Addie Lee Huff Higgins and was preceded in death by his son David Troy Higgins. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base, had worked at J.M. Huber Corporation and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors are his daughters; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother; sisters; several nieces and nephews.
