Obituary
Empire – Myrtle Dunn Howell, age 77, died Thursday, September 7, 2017, in the Dodge County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery.
Mrs. Howell, a lifelong resident of Empire, was the daughter of the late James L. and Ellen Perkins Dunn. She was the wife of the late Jack Howell, Jr. and was preceded in death by her sister Jean Dunn Jones. She was a homemaker and member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors are her children; grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sisters; her brother; several nieces and nephews.
The family is at and will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service Saturday at Mathis Funeral Home.
