EASTMAN - SHIRLEY DENNIS HOWELL, age 72, of Eastman, died Friday, January 7, 2011 in Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. -Funeral Services are scheduled for 2P.M. Sunday, January 9, from the Graveside in Ryals Cemetery, with Rev. Royce Vaughn officiating. -Ms. Howell was born in Chauncey, GA, daughter of the late William Frank Dennis. She was the Social Worker for Heart of Georgia Nursing Home, a former Dodge County Hospital employee for 22 years, a member of Central Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Dennis and Lamar "Nap" Dennis. -Survivors: daughter; mother; grandson; great-grandchildren; sister; brothers; step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. -The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday, January 8.
